Who we are

A few of the people working on the Helma project.

Hannes Wallnöfer

Hannes is the project founder and main developer of Helma. Hannes is also the original author of Helma XML-RPC, which is now an Apache project.

Robert Gaggl

Robert has been involved with Helma from the start creating the web application infrastructure at ORF.at. Robert contributed the object inspector and is the main developer of the Antville weblog application.

Tobi Schäfer

Tobi did the groundwork of the Helma documentation. Currently, he is working on applications like Antville and Parss and sometimes watches the build system or helps getting releases together.

Stefan Pollach

Stefan came to Helma while implementing the web site for FM4, ORF's youth oriented radio station. He has contributed some some of the most relevant recent additions to the code such as the XML Extension, the Helma Management application and the built-in documentation support.

Michi Platzer

Although he is currently on duty elsewhere, Michi and his colleagues at knallgrau have been longtime contributors to Helma, mainly through testing, finding bugs and coming up with good feature requests.

Stefan Lauterer

Stefan is in charge of the technical side at ORF.at and as such has made the Helma project possible in the first place and enabled us to keep going along over the years.

Chris Langreiter

Chris has been close to the Helma project for a long time now. Even though he is pretty busy building cool sites and gizmos and checking out new programming languages, it certainly makes a difference to have him around.

Daniel Ruthardt

Daniel is the one who comes up with bugs nobody else would find in 100 years. That's probably because he uses Helma like nobody else does. Without him, our software simply wouldn't be as smooth as it is!
