How can I access functions via XML-RPC?

Helma's XML-RPC implementation restricts remote access to an application's functions using a list containing those functions that are explicitely open for XML-RPC. This list is maintained as property in server.properties or app.properties:

XmlRpcAccess = prototypeName.functionName, prototypeName2.functionName2
