Fellow Helma Enthusiasts,

I discovered the existance of Helma yesterday and I'm trying to take it for
a spin.  I got to:

http://www.Helma.org/docs/tutorial/improve/

in the tutorial and have run into a problem. Instead of getting a listing
of names in the addressbook I get a "This page cannot be displayed" with a
"HTTP 500 - Internal server error" error. No errors appear on the Helma
console. It appears to be a database problem. I copied my db.properties
file to Helma's home directory and tried using sqlshell to make sure it was
set up correctly. When I sign on to sqlshell my datasource is listed in the
datasource dropdown list. If I select it and click the OK button I get:

Sorry, data source myDataSource is not defined for this application.

My db.properties file looks like:

myDataSource.url      = jdbc:mysql://localhost/addressbook
myDataSource.driver   = com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
myDataSource.user     = user
myDataSource.password = password

except the user and password are different. I have MySQL's Connector/J JDBC
driver installed. I've tried this on both a Gentoo Linux box and a FreeBSD
6.1 box. I'm sure it's something simple I'm overlooking. Any pointers on
what I might check?
