[Helma-user] alleged syntax errors on new debian server

Hi,

I moved a Helma application to a new debian server.
Suddenly, Helma reports syntax errors but there are none. I  
doublechecked the code and the app runs stable on the current server.
My guess was the used UTF-8 encoding, so I configured Debian to use  
UTF-8 as default, but this didn't do the trick.

Has anyone experienced something similar?
