[Helma-user] release schedule for 1.5.3, 1.6

Hi lists,

I need some advise on how to preceed with Helma 1.5 and 1.6 releases.

First of all, I'd like to release Helma 1.5.3 somewhere between soon
and immediately. Is there enough confidence out there? Or should we
test/wait some more?

The next question is how to proceed with Helma 1.6. There are
currently open issues with helmadoc and the rhino debugger, both of
which work somewhat, but not really as they should. My choice would be
to release a beta 1.6 now, and then give it some rest and concentrate
on Helma 2. The other option would be to fix Helma 1.6 now and get it
out soon, and only continue Helma 2 after that.
