I'm not a fan of ad-hoc re-releases, unless it's for really good
reasons. E4X in Rhino simply is work in progress, and it's save to
assume that there are more bugs in there that will be show stoppers
for some.
What I propose to do is to commit a new Rhino snapshot to CVS so
people can get it from there. Helma's Rhino jar is currently from the
Rhino1_6R6_BRANCH with just one patch added. You can always get Helma
Rhino patches from http://dev.helma.org/wiki/Rhino+Bugs+%26+Patches/
I think a good time for Helma 1.6.1 might be when Rhino 1.6R6 is
released (which should be pretty soon anyway) and some more Helma
fixes have piled up.
